Gargoyles is about as dark a product as Disney has ever produced (with the exception of the Satanism at the end of Fantasia and the gleeful racism of Song of the South). From the studio that brought us Tale Spin, Gargoyles was a 1994 children’s cartoon series about legendary Scottish monsters who are awakened in modern day New York by an evil millionaire voiced by, and oddly modeled after Jonathan Frakes.
